About Me

I have been living and working abroad since 1993 but have returned to the Netherlands in August 2021.

I completed my training as an Art Psychotherapist in 2013 at the University of Roehampton (London, UK) where I completed a Masters degree. The therapy can therefore also be offered in English.

During my training I worked in various workplaces, including a psychiatric ward in a hospital, a community center for adults with learning disabilities and in a team for children with sexually challenging behavior.

Since 2013, I have worked as an independent Art Psychotherapist (MA) in various settings, including the Surrey Family Mediation Services (UK), Healthcare-on-Demand Clinic (UK), various schools (UK) and my own practice at home (UK) .

 

From January 2022 I will be available again for 1:1 therapy in my own practice at home in Amsterdam. I have planned to move to Amsterdam by the end of 2022.

 

In addition to my work as an art therapist, I am also an artist. Both subjects are an endless source of mutual inspiration and understanding.
